Fortune Cookies

So I was eating Chinese at Sbisa today and got a fortune cookie with my meal.
It told me,

You are expressive and positive in words, act and feelings

What happened to fortune cookies?? When did they stop having fortunes? They're all lame now!
What ever happened to the,

You are going to meet someone who will donate the heart you are looking for today.

You are going to be lost on an island for the rest of your life because the plane you're about to get on is going to crash.

huh? what has happened to the fortune cookie industry?

Well, to add more to this post, I had a test this morning.
I was up until 2am last night/morning then woke up at 5:15am and studied until 8am when I took my test. :-/

So I'm pretty tired :-)

I'll most likely do my homework and just hit the hay.

I agree!!! Almost all of the fortune cookies I've gotten lately start with "You are ____." That's not a fortune...that's a description. Hmph. No future tense verbs there. Very disappointing if you ask me.
"You will trip and fall when you leave this building."
"You will take a trip next year."
I don't care...just make it interesting. :)

Yeah! I really wouldn't even mind something like, "You're going to go home and go to sleep later on this evening."
It's just sad...
Next thing you know, you're going to get one that says, "Eat more fortune cookies."
:-)

Aww...now aren't the fortunes supposed to be nice to you? Maybe that's why they aren't real fortunes anymore...they kept putting mean ones:
"You are going to break your leg."
"You will be publicly humiliated tomorrow."

Got people mad & they had to move to adjectives. Haha.

But maybe...instead of "Eat more fortune cookies" they could tweak it...

"You will eat more fortune cookies."

So...I got this really cool fortune a little over a week ago. Problem is I can't find it. And it wasn't so much cool as exactly what has been said above...It was a cop-out fortune. Something about "You will get a fortune in the future". Hmph. What is that? Covering their backs? Weird...Wish I could find it & give you a direct quote. But I think it fell behind my stove/oven and I don't particularly feel like trying to move that by myself...if at all...Haha.

okay i'm back. and i found my fortune...

"You will make a fortune with your friend."

Ambiguous & covering their backs...meaning we will make one up? we will make lots of money? oh so many options...
